MICROMOT chucking collets are made of hardened steel, ensuring high and lasting elasticity. They do not lose their shape and precision even after prolonged use (unlike unhardened, four-jaw and similar chucks made of copper or aluminum). Three jaws (manufacturing is significantly more complex than making chucks with 4 slots) allow for better tool clamping. This is important for the centric clamping of smaller diameter shanks.

The heart of MICROMOT handheld devices 220 – 240 V is a DC special motor. Thanks to the technology of permanent magnets, it is very powerful, quiet, and durable compared to its size. Due to the high efficiency of this motor, it requires less energy from the socket for the same output compared to other commonly used motors. When using these motors in production, we primarily address the production of an elegant small device with high performance.
