ABRASIVE Stone for revitalizing diamond discs
Code: 150Product detailed description
For sharpening the blade.
Any diamond blade can dull and lose its cutting properties. This problem occurs especially often when cutting non-abrasive solid, viscous materials such as porcelain stoneware, marble, non-abrasive ceramics, etc. The diamond grains deteriorate and fall out, the processed material sticks to the bond surface. The temperature at the contact point increases, the cutting quality decreases, and the disc stops. There is a risk of tool damage. The disc should be sharpened. Sharpening means making several cuts on a grinding stone. The Mechanic ABRASIVE stone is perfect for sharpening diamond discs. It correctly combines the size and strength of abrasive grains, which are specially selected for sharpening diamond tools. To do this, make several longitudinal cuts with the matte diamond layer. The disc for angle grinders makes cuts up to a depth of 5 mm. The same should be done with the disc for ceramic tile saws with a depth of up to 10 mm. The duller the blade, the more cuts need to be made. It takes up to 10-15 cuts to sharpen your disc again. The size of the grinding stick is 250 * 50 * 25 mm. When cutting with an angle grinder, it is recommended to clamp the strip with a clamp.
